This should warm the hearts of our Young Earth FRiends.

Implying that you view with condescension the beliefs of your own church tradition. Wow. Antipathy towards rednecks really is a strong force, isn't it?

Besides, Catholic and Eastern Orthodox FReepers have assured us many times that no one ever believed in Young Earth Creationism until Darwin published Origin of Species, at which point YEC was created out of whole cloth by Fundamentalist Protestants, whereas the "true churches" had always believed in evolution.

Chrstianity is chaos.

You, and others, might find this link interesting. Lots of pictures.

https://athosweblog.com/

Somewhere there is a picture of the clocktower, whose clock still runs on Byzantine time!

From Wikilinks:

“Byzantine time is an old method of keeping time that is now mostly extinct. Hour 0:00:00 begins daily at sunset. Due to seasonal variations in the length of a day, hour zero can vary by several hours throughout the year. It is now used in very few places, for example, the Eastern Orthodox monasteries on Mount Athos in Greece.[1] and Mar Saba monastery in the West Bank. The Byzantine calendar is a related method of keeping dates.”
