Marriage provides a proper structure for family, and family is the unit cell of society. Society is made of families. Family is the building block of society. Changing the nature of the building blocks changes the nature of society. This video explains where the most profound errors about the nature of marriage came from Protestantism.
There are 3 prominent errors about marriage that result from protestantism:
1. Marriage is Not a sacrament - and therefore is an affair of the state not the church. As a result of this, things like 'homosexual unions' have become legalized. 2. Marriage is not indissoluable - and therefore divorce is permitted for one reason or another. 3. Marriage is not exclusive between 2 people- polygamy is permissible. This error stems from Luther's mind as a result of his new doctrine of Sola Scriptura.
Speaks on how contraception & abortion ultimately have the same root. One who is pro-contraception is NOT prolife - yet another contradiction in protestantism
Modern error regarding sex: A. sex is for recreation B. sex has not necessary connection with procreation. C. sex has no necessary connection with marriage. D. contraception is good... and abortion can be used as emergency contraception.
