Since we all physically die by default (Due to sin, but Jesus died to take away sin, yet we still die anyway, huh), then what is this other death Paul speaks of? Maybe its not a death, just temporal hardships. No, even those under Grace experience earthly hardships. Maybe just a timeout and God will just eventually invite everyone to "the party", thus going in complete circles on why there is death and sacrifices in the first place. Those "highly evolved" Fedora wearing "supreme intellectuals" will have a field day with this "logic".

I can see where "Hell fire and brimstone/devil horns/pitchforks, etc." can be an embellishment, however the concept of a perpetual Spiritual separation from God to the unrepentant sinner that rejects said God is based on reason (Oh, also Spiritual separation is one central theme in that "pesky" Bible people have a tendency to take too seriously /s, including one main Figure who kept on saying "It is written...").

God is omnipresent. You can’t be separated from him if you exist.

Man is not immortal, but Jesus offers immortality to those who accept His free gift. For the rest, well they should fear Him that can destroy “both body and soul”.
The other death Paul speaks of is what happens at the GWTJ.
