I just want to thank everyone for the enormous outpouring of prayers for my family member.... I did not at all expect this ...I am overwhelmed and grateful beyond measure....and my mailbox keeps getting that way too!...

I did not want this on an open thread for the world to see so I thought best to work it thru freep-mail to those I've known.....but it's not possible to keep repeating to everyone the status.

S0 let me say she is home, we still must wait another week to be out of the danger zone....we will know more then...she is in good care as her mom is a fabulous ER Trauma Nurse and the Clinic one of the best and not far from them...

I just wanted to say thank you to all....I have once again learned why there are really great people on this site....and I have been lifted up for that.

I believe she will be okay. Her youth rules in her favor. She just has to be quiet and still for a few weeks. Our granddaughter had the same kind of injury and she is fine. Takes about 6 weeks before engaging in any heavy activity.

I have been “dozing” so I just saw your email. Though I immediately sent prayers up, I did not email you back because I had not been on the main site for several hours. I was glad to see this update and will continue to keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers here in NC. I live on the coast so I am several hours away from Charlotte, but I was born there and have a niece that lives there. Please keep the people of Charlotte and our entire state in your prayers also!

I have disagreed with my family members more than once too, some more than others, but my concern for them doesn't diminish either.

I've also discovered I learn more from those I disagree with then I do those in agreement....the crucible if you will.....generally it stretches the mind and challenges ones thinking or perceived idea's of what they think they know but don't...I guess we all think we know or have the answers until one comes along that challenges our thinking or where we stand....so we not only disagree but we are passionate about what we think or believe. In the end it's debate and disagreements that eventually reveal truth....

Yep......I will feel far better after her test at the end of next week.....but allowing her to come under her mothers care was a good indicator...though I understand even had they admitted her all you can do there is wait as well. So she will be far more comfortable and sleep better at home, which they want her to do a lot of.
