Our Father in Heaven,
How Blessed is Your Name.
Thank You For Your Many Blessings.
Please Send Us Conviction When We Stray.
Guard Our Hearts and Our Minds From Laziness.
Give Us A Clear Conscience and a Pure Heart Before You.

We Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem,
According to Your Will and Promise.
We Pray For the People and Leaders of Israel,
that They Will Look to You for the Protection
and Prosperity of their Nation.
We Also Pray For Revival in our own Beloved USA.

We Pray For The Swift and Sure Coming of Messiah,
Blessed Be He,
To Establish His Kingdom,
and Make All Things Right.

We pray in particular on behalf of our brothers and sisters in Syria, Iraq, Egypt, Libya and throughout the Mideast. The members of the oldest of our Christian Communities, some of which date from the days of the Apostles, suffer under cruel, merciless and unrelenting persecution. They are Orthodox and Catholic, Protestant and Evangelical, Coptic, Pentecostal, and Baptist. To the persecutors, we are all "Nazarenes."

I have eight bookmarks in my Bible for my Daily personal Bible Study, which I read before publishing this Thread every day. Today's Bookmarks were as follows:

Bear in mind these bookmarks have been rotating through my Bible for FIFTEEN YEARS, and were NOT Planned!)

1. The Torah: Genesis 40. Joseph has been falsely accused of sexual impropriety and lands in jail. While he is there, he interprets the dreams of two corrupt officials, one of whom is reinstated, and the other of whom is executed.

2. History: 1 Samuel 29. David is falsely accused by Saul, and has sought refuge with Saul's enemies, but they don't trust him either, even though he has been a faithful servant to both.

3. Poetry: Psalm 2 (OK, I DID plan that one!)

4. Prophets: Jeremiah 10. The prophet pleads with the People of Israel to NOT learn the ways of "the Nations", or to be "terrified by the signs in the Heavens"

5. The Gospels: Matthew 24. Jesus tells His Disciples about the End of Days, and tells them not to be afraid of "Wars and Rumors of War, and "signs in the heavens".

6. The Book of Acts: Chapter 19. Demetrius the Silversmith incites a riot against Paul because the preaching of the Good News is interfering with his income!

7. Letters: Hebrews 5 interprets and quotes the VERY PSALM 2 THAT WE ARE STUDYING TODAY!

8. Revelation: Chapter 8, which concludes the Seven Seals and announces the Trumpets, which, in the KJV is call a TRUMP.
(I am NOT making this up!)

The United Nations have conspired together (in rage, by the way, which is the word that the KJV uses for "conspire", to rob Israel of her inheritance. The Land that has been given to them by God is STILL the subject of rage and conspiracy. The "coincidences" are just too numerous to count, and yet people STILL don't see. OR, they DO see, but because they have become so complacent and corrupt that the TRUTH will destroy their income, like Demetrius. So how do they deal with it? With false accusations, sexual innuendo, inciting to riot, conspiracy on an international scale, and the attempt to destroy the Evidence of God's Love and Provision, which is, of course, Jerusalem.

Not to mention the crazy 16th Century English PUN on our candidate's surname!

Come and Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our Beloved Nation.
