Pope Francis has once again answered the question of whether women will be priests in the Catholic church.
Pope Francis said the Catholic church is still opposed to women being ordained as priests, and it doesn't look like that's ever going to change.
While visiting Sweden, the Pope told the press the matter was settled in 1994, saying, "Saint Pope John Paul II had the last clear word on this, and it stands."

Pope John Paul II's justification for the ban was that Jesus selected 12 men to be his apostles and zero women, setting a precedent for how the church should proceed in the future.
Some women were hopeful for some new openings in the church when the pope announced a commission would look into the historical role of female deacons in the Catholic church. But even then, the pope said that commission wasn't going to bring about any major changes.
Some Catholic women are upset their fight for equality is falling on deaf ears at the Vatican. They argue that adding women to the clergy could be a shot in the arm for Catholicism, which is already dealing with a waning number of priests.
Bergoglio never said, “never”.
He said this:

And as we all should know. Bergoglio has never been one for following directions. Take for instance Bergoglio’s absolute rejection of Pope John Paul II’s Familiaris Consortio.

It's so interesting that you see it that way.
Looking at the early church and how it was in its simplicity. I know I’d get bombarded with all sorts of hate posts the second I’d get into ... well, you know. The simplicity is in Yeshua and what He finished for us on the Cross. There is no longer a need for the Temple and it’s pomp. The Law is done, it’s over.

Journalists always say that contraception is “banned.”
To say that something is “banned” implies that there are no reasons for the “policy.” It’s arbitrary, irrational, etc.
The thing is a single parent has to be both. It’s not about reproduction, it’s about parenting.
I can JUST hear myself:
a. It's been 10 YEARS since your last confession?! WHAT is the matter with you?!
b. After confessing a few particularly egregious sins: You did WHAT?!! HOW COULD YOU?!?! Are you NUTS? And did you HAVE to do it FIVE times?!
Yet Bergoglio had taken it upon himself to wash the feet of women and muslims on Holy Thursday, even before he changed Church discipline to fit his whims with a wave of his hand.
Besides, the really important, and really interesting people in the Church are not the priests, nor even the popes --- but the saints.
It’s just going back to Dorcas and her home church which was actually the first church mentioned in the NT.
Second, the Pope has the authority to change Church disciplines. Looking back on when this has been done in the past, we can certainly say it has not always been wise, nor for the best, but he does have that authority.
Which I don't, thank God.
I'm always grateful to the Lord our God when Pope Francis does somethin right. Have you not been praying for Pope Francis to get something right? Then it's an answer to prayer. It should be met with thankfulness, not rejection.
I think I *will* meet her, someday.
I guess they can always do a sex change since the Pope seems to be ok with homos, communists and Social Justice Warriors.

OK, so then single parenting is not about women becoming males, or men, or fathers.

The Bible does warn against false teachers, prophets and other gospels. It says that the scripture is good for many things. Prove all things, hold that which is true. What other standard is there but scripture to know these things about God?
