Hopefully for the same reason most of the witch burning aspect of the old testament was deleted.

It makes no sense, it’s evil and is useless for good to prevail.

I know about how King Saul consulted the Witch of Endor, but where was there ever a ritual in the OT about burning them?

Are you saying fasting is evil and useless for good to prevail? If so, I say you are blinded by evil and need to repent and read the Bible closer. Of course, I am not sure you have ever read the Bible.
