Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

Our Father in Heaven
We Praise Your Holy Name!
Your Will be Done.
On Earth as it is in Heaven.
Teach us, LORD,
Our Whole Mind,
And Our Strength.
May The Words of Our Mouth,
And the Meditations of Our Heart,
Be Acceptable To You,
Oh LORD, Our God, to Listen to You,
And Not to our own understanding.

We Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem,
According to Your Will and Promise.
We Pray For the People and Leaders of Israel,
that They Will Look to You for the Protection
and Prosperity of their Nation.
We Also Pray For Revival in our own Beloved USA.

We Pray For The Swift and Sure Coming of Messiah,
Blessed Be He,
To Establish His Kingdom,
and Make All Things Right.

Blessings To All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer.

Hallelujah and Amen

Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

Some people have remarked that, as secrets have come to the foreground in this Election, that "It would make Watergate look like a Sunday School Picnic." I think we can all agree that the actual crimes of Watergate were not nearly as egregious as the COVERUP that followed. Covering up a sin makes it worse.

As we discussed earlier in this Thread, there are many kinds of Psalms, covering a whole range of both the Temporal and the Spiritual. There are Psalms of Victory, Praise, Despair, Vengeance, and Worship. Some Psalms are very comforting, and others are thought-provoking.

This is a "Penitential Psalm." David confesses his sin, which is, in a way AGREEING with God that he is a sinner. Covering up, rationalizing, excusing, or otherwise not confessing sin is, in effect, DISAGREEING with God about it! And, of course, that is a sin, too. Like the explosive revelations of Watergate or Wikileaks, we bristle not only at the crimes themselves, but at the coverup. How much more awful it is to try and "cover up" against the Omniscient God?

Come and Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our Beloved Nation.

Blessings To All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer.

This Symbol Represents Christians in The Middle East, who desperately need our Prayers.

5. I acknowledged my sin to you, and I did not hide my iniquity; I said, I will confess my transgressions to the Lord; and you forgave the iniquity of my sin; Selah:
6. For this shall every one who is pious pray to you in a time when you may be found; then surely the floods of great waters shall not come near him:

7. You are my hiding place; you shall preserve me from trouble; you shall surround me with songs of deliverance; Selah:
8. I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you:

Looks like a pattern here:

David to God:

You are my hiding place
You shall preserve me from trouble
You shall surround me with songs of deliverance

Messiah David to us:

I will instruct you in the way which you shall go
I will teach you in the way which you shall go
I will counsel you with my eye upon you

Us to Messiah David:

I acknowledged my sin to you, and I did not hide my iniquity; I said, I will confess my transgressions to the Lord; and you forgave the iniquity of my sin; Selah:

Luke 5

20 And when he saw their faith, he said unto him, Man, thy sins are forgiven thee.
21 And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, Who is this which speaketh blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone?
22 But when Jesus perceived their thoughts, he answering said unto them, What reason ye in your hearts?
23 Whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Rise up and walk?
24 But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power upon earth to forgive sins, (he said unto the sick of the palsy) I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy couch, and go into thine house.
25 And immediately he rose up before them, and took up that whereon he lay, and departed to his own house, glorifying God.
26 And they were all amazed, and they glorified God, and were filled with fear, saying, We have seen strange things to day.

But when he perceived their misguided thoughts, he instructed and taught them in the way they should go (yalak - walk).
