All Catholics would be advised to be seriously unnerved by this pope- however the bad formation of Catholics since the 60’s has rendered the average Catholic incapable of grasping the fact that there is a dangerous wolf in sheep’s clothing leading the flock towards the snares. The very idea that our own consciences are adequate to guide us into accepting adultery is preposterous since sadly the average Catholic is clueless as to scripture (Luke 16-18) and the Church’s teaching. Therefore it is not even credible that their consciences are properly formed to make sound judgments in these matters and so the whole premise is a straw man. Homilies are silent and the vast majority of priests certainly act content to make sure all remain in the dark as to the proper teachings as well.
The secular parallel here would be: the millennials in the U.S. who were deliberately not taught actual history or civics in the U.S. public schools leaving them ignorant of the founders’ sound reasoning behind instituting the electoral college. These young twenty somethings were left uninformed purposefully by the socialist teachers in charge of forming their minds. The communist/atheist leaning (think - miracles weren’t actually miracles- implied - Christ didn’t rise, etc.) “progressive” wing in the church uses the same tactics.
However, I was unnerved, yet I have turned it over to God at this point as He can make all thigns work together for good. Not that this poor leadership will ever be good but God has a way of being in charge of the ultimate outcome as to how He wants it to turn out.
I always advise FR readers to read “AA-1025 Memoirs of a Communist’s Infiltration into the Church”. The socialist/liberation theology/ atheistic errors have been introduced into the Church on purpose. Our Lady of Fatima warned of this and she was correct, even though I am not a Marian apparition “chaser” type, the accuracy of the prophetic admonition from Our Lady that the sins of Russia a/k/a atheistic socialism will infiltrate seems more than co incidental.

Yes, but more ominously, a number of Catholics now consider themselves UNCHURCHED “by the turn of events” in the Church due to what they see as the election of an anti-Pope.
