What good are missionaries if they can’t proselytize?
It’s “solemn nonsense” per Pope Francis. Pope Francis actually discouraged the protestant bishop, Tony Palmer, from converting to Catholicism. And he even later ordered that Palmer be given a Catholic bishop’s funeral.
Proselytism is no longer just “solemn nonsense”. It is a “great sin against ecumenism”.
