Today's interview, from Raymond Arroyo's World Over Live, is a great indication on where the center of gravity is now moving within the ranks of the knowledgable Catholic faithful.
The interview was with author and apologist Robert Royal and canon lawyer and priest Gerald Murray. I think it's fair to say that all (including Arroyo) were highly critical of Francis and the recent direction of his pontificate in the wake of Amoris Laetitia.

Bump for later.
As an aside, Netflix has started offering a biopic mini-series Call Me Francis, a 2016 Argentinian production. Well worth checking out for some insight into Bergolio's formative years.
This Francis felloe has got to go. For all we know he is Peter of Rome.
Troubles in the high echelon of the Church are nothing new. I’m amazed more Catholics haven’t walked away. I did so years ago, when the coverup of systemic child molestation was too much to bear.
Thanks for the Netflix tip and link.
“Walking away” is laughable. No Catholics I know are remotely of the sort to cede ground to these Lib Theos, by,.... walking away.
How embarrassing.
The answer is not to leave the One True Church that Jesus Christ founded.
It is to understand that we are all sinners and we should work as the Body of Christ and follow His path.
It is not easy but the reward is great.
You don’t leave Peter because of Judas— or even for numerous Judases. It’s Christ’s Church, not Francis’ or any other bishop. The Church has survived, outlasted, and outlived much worse and come out the stronger for it, that’s for sure. Many great Saints have arisen just out of times like these. I intend to be in that number.
Walking away from Jesus is not an option. Corruption and sin? Yes, they are always with us because the Church is run by people. That said, good is from God and it overcomes evil. Keep in mind that most of the perps were homosexual and that is the issue. Much has been cleaned up, will it ever be perfect? Nope. With that in mind, this is the Church that Jesus left us and it has survived wars, bad behavior, bad popes, and people leaving in disgust. Think it through and then find a good parish where the same Truth that was left to us is still taught. Prayers.

A lot of that going around. Along the lines of “I have been a Republican all of my life, but....”
Amen, my FRiend!

You gotta wonder what the heck— was/is, or IF, catachism even exists for some of these featherweight Catholics!
It tests my patience that any Catholic can’t get off the dime long enough to LEARN his faith, enough to know that there is an Ark, and you better be in it, and get to WORK, HARD, at doing your part to keep it afloat rather than throw down your part and pick up your bustle and walking away from the ugly monstrosity to drowned in the dark deep.
How dumb is that? To say that you were clever to walk away from the Ark is something the lost did, while laughing, back in Genesis.
What does God have to do to show you that the Roman Catholic Church is rotten to the core? Perhaps expose institutional child predator priests? Those who love God and family need to leave.
Perhaps the version that is preached to you and is promoted by the media is totally rotten. Inside the boat things look different. It is my privilege to associate with priests who work tirelessly to bring people to Our Lord. It is obvious that He called them to His Church and they have generously answered. Are there problems inside the Church, is this a dangerous time? Yes. But surely you are not trying to tell us that everything is perfect in every church you have gone to. We can read and therefore know that that cannot be true. We who stay do so with our eyes wide open and with trust in Almighty God.
You are stuck with an evil Pope. But because of the false doctrine of Papal Infallibility, your priests must follow him. But this is only the tip of the iceberg. “Come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord”
The Bible tells us the Church is the Body of Christ, despite the sinful actions of individual members. If you think the Church is rotten, you are calling Christ rotten. You may want to rethink that.
