I’ve never spoken ill of a Pope in my life, but Francis is just nuts.
We can’t rule out either. No good Catholic can. Thank God the majority of Catholics voted their conscience in the election or some of those states we won might have swung the other way.

I try to be understanding, and see if his comments are taken out of context. Sometimes they are. Sadly often they are not. What really scares me though, is that even the Catholic Church, the great deposit of tradition and faith for 2000 years, is infected with post-modern, secularist, leftism. It means no place on earth is safe.

There’s a hymn that well captures that old time religion wherever it still lives: “My faith is built on nothing less than Jesus’ blood and righteousness. I dare not trust the sweetest frame but wholly lean on Jesus’ name. On Christ the solid rock I stand all other ground is sinking sand.”
But where Scripture is cast aside in religious liberalism it quickly becomes “My faith is built on nothing.”
