Your religion is more than just factual belief. It’s the thing you value most in life.
But the point is no human mind can exist without religion.

If you really believe you don’t know... that’s (part of) your religion. ;-)

Sounds like you’re breaking the rules too, humblegunner. I admit I made a mistake in not reading the rules. But perhaps you should read the rules too: “remember to use common courtesy when posting and refrain from posting personal attacks”
If I knew how to delete the post, I would do it myself, but I can’t find a delete button.

"In the modern age, it is the task of the humanist to remind man of his spiritual reality." -- Russell Kirk, paraphrasing Irving Babbitt, in The Conservative Mind.

What Irving Babbitt meant by humanism was something different from what today’s humanists mean by it.

I admit I made a mistake in not reading the rules. What rules specifically did you read and where did you find them?
To: LibertarianLiz
I strongly believe that Environmentalism is also a religion. It is a religion but it is a subset of Humanism which worships the creation instead of the Creator.

Bad example,
That is true, they most likely would not kill a beef if their family was starving, but they would sat it like pigs if it were killed by some one else and given to them.

I completely agree, we should stick with breeding dogs with dogs and cats with cats.
I disagree, I do not believe we should be in the breeding business except for the animals made for food consumption, leave it to God, he can do a much better job.
But then i guess there are people who eat pig and dog meat.

Actually, God gave dogs to us for the purpose of their management.
