We started a book table at a local college this year. We have a sign that says “free Bibles”. We’ve had some great conversations and we pass out about 150 gospel tracts every week.

I encourage you to look into this.

God knows His own and will call them. It is a privilege and an honor to be part of the means He uses. However don’t fall into the trap of blaming yourself if someone does not get saved. Remember the Rich Young Ruler went away sorrowful. And He had Jesus Himself witnessing to him.

Is the “Spirit of God” in this sense referring to the Holy Spirit? Was the Holy Spirit there from the beginning?

1Th_5:23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

God made us in their image...They being the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit...Body, Soul and Spirit...

So yes, the Holy Spirit was there from the beginning...

Praying you get an answer soon on your desire to serve. If your church has nothing at the moment, start looking for other opportunities. There must be a Christian shelter or soup kitchen or that kind of thing.
