“Modern” and “Art” are an oxymoron anymore...
There IS no art anymore :/
My oil/acrylic paintings (from decades ago) are much more meaningful than what is ‘produced’ today.
The best painting I had ever done (cabin with trees and a spring next to it with a background of some majestic mountains) I gave to my stepmother (God rest her soul) as a Christmas gift. I am sure it would not rank in the top 1000 of what they call art today :p

If you placed it on the ground in the woods and a bear pooped on it...and you offered it to the “artists” of today they’d find it to be incredible. Sad but true.
Wish I could paint, but a stick figure is about best I can manage.
