The behavior and photos are bad enough. Wickedness in the heart is worse. And a lot of that wickedness hides in "robes of (self)-righteousness in pew after pew and is also rife among spiritual "leaders" of every flavor.

Traditionally Orthodox churches don’t have pews, though in the US I’ve seen exceptions.
Obviously, you are right: there are many people who appear to be living godly lives, but have evil hearts or are doing good things for bad reasons. God will handle them. There is nothing I have said that contradicts what you also assert. These two debauched losers have contaminated the world with their bad behavior. I didn’t seek this article out. The headline and photo flashed before my eyes, and, believe me, I wish they hadn’t. Our culture is in the sewer and I’ve had it.
