Manuscripts, not autographs. All the autographs are, so far as we known, long gone. Some Greek verb forms don't really have close correspondence with a particular English form. The key verb here is a subjunctive aorist, and we don't have an aorist--and neither does Latin. That the negative is μὴ is of some significance as well--but I will want to consult grammars before commenting further. The verb itself means literally to bear or cary inward, and the prepositional prefix indicating inward appears two words later as a free-standing prefix, so there is a real emphasis on the inward aspect. I'll try to check the best witness into the Hebrew tomorrow.
