I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. Don’t let the heretics and the idiots drive you out of the Church. The worse things get, the more Pope Frances undermines the Church, the more your minister may give silly sermons, the more you need to go to church and receive the sacraments.

If your local priest can’t do confession properly, go somewhere else. As long as he says the proper words at the consecration, and doesn’t mess up that part of the Mass, it can be presumed that the sacrament is there for you to receive.

For the sake of the Church, we need to resist the heretics and try to show a good example. And for our own sakes and that of our families, we need to receive the Sacraments regularly. Don’t let people like Francis drive you out. If you leave, you are just helping him realize his aims.

You know I was thinking about it when Benedict was Pope, but I changed my mind when he was deposed.

And now for a message, not about a church, but about a Savior... and how a Catholic Priest came to faith in Christ and salvation.

Strategies for Returning to the [Catholic] Church

The church has left me not I the church. Pope Francis is an abomination to the teachings of "The Church."

Odd is it not, the greatest pope in a thousand years, Pope John Paul and the worst, Pope Francis, are sepaerated by just 13 years. Pope Francis is a result of the corruption in the college or cardinals. The cardinals have become political and have abandoned the church also.

Live the Gospel, avoiding hypocrisy, condemnation of others, descent into pettiness. If you consider yourself a Catholic first and desire others to feel that same zeal, your example is the best model. Just like Mary.

Roman Catholicism can seemingly do nothing apart from Mary.

No thanks. I read the Bible and ran from the Catholic Church as fast as I could. No Pope has authority over me, only Christ does. Thought the Pope was “infallible” on teaching and church doctrine, funny how that changes when they put a Marxist on the throne, all of sudden he’s not infallible anyone. I’ll take my chances with the Gospel and Jesus Christ.

You know, the title makes no sense in terms of the article.

It has nothing to do with it.

If someone is going to return to the church, there’s no *strategy* about it.

You walk into the nearest Catholic church and go to confession and communion, and viola, you’re back.

And likely, they never even knew you were gone, just like the Catholic church I went to growing up. It was so big that no doubt they had a roster, but I rarely saw the same priest twice. They came and went constantly. They didn’t know you from Adam.

The article is more about strategies for getting people back into the church.

Your own edification will inevitably seep into your own worldview. ...Ask saints for intercession. Call on the Blessed Mother multiple times a day.

All in the interest of converting souls to the self-proclaimed "apostolic church" but which (that of Scripture) never manifested these common Catholic distinctives.

As long as the message is simply...”Returning to the Church”, then one might as well say returning to “temple” or “mosque”.

Returning to or even converting to THE WAY of Christ Jesus is what the message should be...no matter what “church” or grass hut or converted mall store front space one happens to have attended!

There is a reason the Church opens a new year honoring the Mother of God:

A phrase found NOWHERE in the Bible.
