NY Governor Cuomo Goes After Pro-Life, Pro-Family Businesses

Bans state agencies from doing business with companies that "support discrimination"

ALBANY, N.Y. (ChurchMilitant.com) - Governor Andrew Cuomo is going after businesses that object to homosexuality. In an announcement to the giant homosexual interest group the Human Rights Campaign at their annual gala in New York City, Cuomo said he would sign an executive order banning New York state agencies from doing business with companies which refuse services based on conscientious objection to homosexuality and so-called same-sex marriage.

Cuomo also said to the group of LGBT activists that "I can tell you that any school that refuses to protect transgender students will not receive a penny of state money and then they are out of business," speaking of the policy of the Trump administration rescinding the Obama transgender-bathroom mandate.

Archdiocese of New York official Ed Mechmann said about the move by Cuomo:

The Supreme Court saw clearly that our Constitution recognizes the fundamental human right to think and believe freely and that government cannot penalize persons or organizations solely because of their religious beliefs. The Court rejected the fundamentally totalitarian idea that all private entities must be forced into harmony with the government's ideology. The Supreme Court sees what Big Brother in Albany does not. The future of freedom in our state is not looking good.

FR: Never Accept the Premise of Your Opponent’s Argument

Not only couldn’t I find executive order defined in New York’s state constitution (correction welcome), but just like the federal Constitution and other state constitutions, NY State constitution vests legislative powers in (surprise) the state’s legislature.

So just as the corrupt federal Congress let lawless Obama get away with stealing legislative powers, exercising those powers using constitutionally undefined executive orders to do lawmakers' dirty, unpopular legislative work for them imo, presumably so that they can keep their voting records clean, the same thing is arguably going on in NY State government.

The major constitutional problem with Gov. Cuomo's executive order is this. Since the states have never amended the Constitution to expressly protect politically correct LGBT "rights," consider that Cuomo is wrongly using stolen state legislative powers (imo) to trump constitutionally enumerated religious expression protection, thus violating Section 1 of the 14th Amendment (14A).

Note that while the states gave Congress the specific 14A power to strengthen constitutionally enumerated protections against abridgment by the states, the corrupt Congress left over from the lawless Obama Administration will predictably wrongly remain silent while Gov. Cuomo unconstitutionally harasses Christians like pro-LGBT activist states been doing since the Obama era.

It is actually up to the patriots in every state to rescue NY state citizens who exercise their constitutionally enumerated religious expression protections by doing the following.

Patriots need to finish the job that they started when they elected Trump president.

More specifically, patriots now need to be making sure that there are plenty of Trump-supporting federal candidates on the 2018 primary ballots who are willing to make laws to stop states from abridging constitutionally enumerated rights, and pink-slip incumbent lawmakers by sending candidate patriot lawmakers to DC on election day.

And until the states wake up and repeal 17A, as evidenced by concerns about the integrity of Alabama's special Senate election, patriot candidates need to win elections by a large enough margin to compensate for possible deep state ballot box fraud and associated MSM scare tactics.

Cuomo wants to destroy religious freedom in the 1st amendment just as he took away some major gun rights the 2nd amendment in NY.

Also, here’s another one of his evil pet projects, if any NYer is will to protest (from NYSCatholic.org ):

“URGENT! The Governor’s abortion expansion bill would allow more late-term abortions, let non-doctors do abortions, and remove protections for babies born alive after an abortion. This is too radical even for New York.
