CINCINNATI, Ohio, February 26, 2018 (LifeSiteNews) – Ohio family and life advocates gathered Monday morning to oppose the government removal of a child from her parents’ custody so that she can take hormones for so-called gender transition – calling the case a “dangerous affront to the rights of parents and the health and well being of children.”
Ohio-based pro-family advocacy group Citizens for Community Values and Right to Life of Greater Cincinnati held a press conference on the Hamilton County Courthouse steps in Cincinnati to announce legislative and other action in response to what’s being called an unprecedented move against parental rights by a judge.
The legislation and call to action are due to Hamilton County Judge Sylvia Hendon’s ruling to remove a minor girl from her parents’ custody, and place her with her grandparents so that Cincinnati Children’s Hospital can administer “sex-change” drugs.
Hendon awarded full custody to the girl’s maternal grandparents earlier this month after her parents did not agree to “transition” treatment because they do not feel it is in her best interest.

The grandparents are outrageous. They should have supported the parents. My daughter wants to transition, but I told her that she could when she pays for it. We won’t.
Several years ago, the quest to find the cause and cure was supplanted by “acceptance.” There are scant few resources for parents like me who have a child battling gender dysphoria, but there are plenty of people pushing hormone therapy and transitioning. Toss into the mix all the damn lies about trans kids or their families, conservative parents must fight to save their kids on their own.
According to the article, this “child” is due to turn 18 in the next few months. After that, she can do whatever she chooses to do as an “adult”. The hormonal supplements the judge is demanding to be allowed are to suppress puberty. An almost 18 year old HAS already gone through puberty. This whole thing is a crock and a sham. Dangerous precedents these out-of-control liberal judges are setting.

so the grandparents are more messed up than the parents if they are taking the child in to allow the brain washing and abuse of body to proceed.
Evil comes in all shapes and sizes I suppose - medical, judicial, and even adult guardians in this situation.
God is always a Resource available to you and to your whole family. God is able to help your daughter more than any other sort of resource.

May she realize the error of her thinking and become a testimony to the power of God and her life as the girl and young woman she is becoming, shine His glory as a beacon for other children and adults so they awaken from their delusional fantasy of gender swapping, since there is no way to truly switch the gender God assigned a person.
If people only read their bibles and pondered the fact we each will experience thought issues, trust issues, addiction issues, etc mentioned in the various exempts of peoples lives in the bible, then they would know to stop all this labeling and diagnosing and realize it’s a spiritual issue more so than a physical issue with a person that is going on. Correct the spiritual and from that you correct the thinking, acting, choice making , feelings etc etc.
She hid what she was going through for years because she didn’t want God to stop loving her. My daughter’s adrenal system produces too many free floating adrenal androgens, which connect to the adrenal receptors in her brain and register as testosterone. We’ve taken her to two separate endocrinologist s to confirm it. She now has the effects of hypoandrogensism, but because it’s been happening for years, we don’t know if it can be reversed. We are praying for her. According to one study, hypoandrogensism is linked to excessive sugar in the diet. Given that the average kid nowadays consumes 40 teasppons of sugar (instead of the 6 teaspoons like we did growing up) it is no surprise this is happening to more young people. I’ve had to do my own research on this because there is very little support on the right. Lots of joking, misinformation, mocking, or suppositions, but no scientific research. It upsets me because we have given ground to the left and they now control the narrative and treatment protocols. I have to battle everyone, including the doctors, to save my child.
It will change when judges hang from lampposts.
This is what the Left always wanted. They always wanted to break up the family because it’s empowering for the masses. They wanted our children, all of them, to brainwash.

I think you nailed it. I think socialists’ want people to believe that government is the source of and purveyor of liberty, and, how that liberty is defined. The idea of transcendent, moral absolutes grounded in God is NOT what socialism/communism wants. Only the State is absolute.
