I was raised Catholic. My Pope was a Polish guy that challenged an Evil Empire and helped break it, along with an awesome President and an Iron Lady Prime Minister.
And it’s not “infection” to be wary of “foreigners” who want to cut your head off for THEIR version of god and blow themselves up along with innocent folks.

I don’t fear foreigners.
I oppose illegal immigration and think every last one of them needs to be deported now.
I also oppose in invasion by enemy combatants posing as immigrants and think they all need to be deported now as well.

What a monster
Nations have a right to protect borders. Immigrants must respect and obey the laws of the host country. If a country cannot handle too many they may help them find a country which will take them or send them home.
The first and most important solution for excessive immigration is the help fix reasons they want to leave. People have a right not to have to emigrate. They have a right to live and flourish in their own country.
This can be found in words of other popes and the Catechism.
When you live behind 35 foot walls and have a 150-man private army protecting you, I guess you can have no fear of foreigners.

Yep. I don’t recall in bridges in Jerusalem. They certainly had a wall and it wasn’t to keep people in.
Sounds more like Fear of the Christians can infect the Vatican.
