Why not free him (them) to pursue their wild goose? What’s the harm — it won’t cost the National Health Service anything to let them go to another country? He (they) are “off the books,” and the point should be moot.
And if the child is doomed by his condition, then why ORDER him (them) to Stay & Die when there’s a shred of hope elsewhere?
Why, indeed...
Because, as with so many other things, it’s not about health. It’s about Authority and Control.
“By God, we’ve ORDERED such-and-so, and that’s the Way It Will BE! WE HAVE DECIDED AND SPOKEN. YOU WILL SUBMIT!!”
They cannot tolerate defiance or even difference. They MUST be in CONTROL.

It is hideous, that it has come to this. Remember during the Vietnam War, people were going to move to Canada, or Britain, or Australia, so their boys wouldn’t have to be drafted? In those days, the U.K. was still civilized, though the early stages of socialism had already started. There is no where to go, if our nation succumbs. Pray without ceasing.
If this family went elsewhere and the child was helped, it would show the level of care the NHS offers. It would be a real wake-up to the rest of the world and that simply cannot be allowed.
