And Roman Catholicism stands in contradiction of that. Y’all say Mary is necessary and one can only come to Christ through her. And that one must be devoted to her.

Christianity and Roman Catholicism. There is a difference.

Consider that Christ came to us through his earthly mother. Minimizing her is akin to minimizing His own flesh and blood, his Incarnation, his literal humanity.

The Incarnation is the one glorious reason why she's honored, and given to His disciples as well: Son, behold your mother.

Refusing her honor is refusing the one Christ honored, for He perfectly kept all the Commandments to a supreme and sovereign degree, including "Honor thy Father and thy Mother."

"He who is mighty has done great things for me." That's what we honor.
