Both examples at that first link had nothing to do with someone taking remains away from the person’s burial site for the purpose of veneration. I’ve never read anything in the Scripture that tells us to do deal in relics. It was not the hem of Jesus’ garment that healed the woman, it was her faith and Jesus’ mercy.

No where in the NT are we ever told to keep and collect these things. Doing so shows a lack of faith in Christ on the part of the Roman Catholic.

Nowhere in Scripture are the remains of the dead collected, prayed to, fondled, kissed, etc.

It is not taught.
It is not commanded.
No Apostle is recorded as doing such a thing.
It is not seen before 100 AD

It is not an Apostolic practice, but a pagan one.
