"How silly of them. Prophecy, phffffttt. It's not Bibli... oh wait."

The question isn't whether or not prophecy is biblical, the question is if this specific guy is a prophet, or not. The "prophet" Hananiah, in the book of Jeremiah, is a good example - things didn't work out so well for him and his claims of pece and prosperity.

[[The question isn’t whether or not prophecy is biblical, the question is if this specific guy is a prophet, or not.]]

The test is whether they get ALL their prophecies correct or not- [[His name is Mark Taylor, coauthor of The Trump Prophecies, who says nearly everything God told him is coming to pass.]]

“Nearly everything”? Apparently God isn’t quite as accurate as He used to be?

Also- prophecies did not deal with common sense guesses- They usually dealt with things that could not have been seen or known by the one prophesying- for example- prophets in old testament said Christ would appear- He did- Adn that He would die on the cross- He did- The cross was not used at the time of those prophets- they had no way of even knowing about that method of execution- let alone prophesy it would happen

Psychics at best can guesstimate correctly about 60% of the time- and they almost always involve common sense reasoning- people who practice psychic predictions are good at observing known situations and predicting based on those facts- and have a higher than usual ‘success rate’ - however- they fall far short of the prophets who were correct 100% of the time and who prophesied about things they oculdn’t possibly know about other than through divine revelation

Calling the man a false prophet prior to knowing whether or not his purported prophecy actually is false or not is bearing false witness, if we want to get Biblically specific about it. Not much wiggle room here, if it’s false we’ll know. We just don’t know yet. So, hold the condemnation, that’s all I’m saying.

mark made several predictions for 2012 which failed to come true- He tried to cover up that fact by claiming ‘the church wasn’t ready for them to be fulfilled’- You can read abotu that here:

When prophets prophesied- they didn’t get things wrong- all their prophesies either came to pass 100% or are set to in the future-
