There’s no such thing as “national sin”. There are only the sins of individuals and Jesus died for ALL the sins of the WHOLE world (John 1:29; 1 John 2:2).

Nations, city-states and entire peoples have been judged so there I'll just have to disagree with you. I'll toss out four examples: Nineveh, Sodom and Gomorrah and the Canaanites.

The sins of the whole world including America’s have now been judged completely on the body of Jesus Christ (1 John 2:2).

God did not spare Sodom and Gomorrah because of Lot and his wife.

He took them out and then destroyed the city for its sin.
