It’s misunderstood. As I understand the Bible position, there is no sin that I can commit that I cannot repent of, but the saved by grace crowd twisted the meaning of the words.
Proper repentance means repenting and making amends to those I’ve harmed. Unfortunately, the second part is never taught.
Faith is living under the covenant that Yeshua renewed in his sinless blood.;
That becomes possible when that covenant is written on our hearts. If it is really written on your heart, you will endeavor to keep it, and when you break it, you will confess and repent! .
