That is a ridiculous statement. If you are Catholic and think Protestants can’t be saved. You don’t know any. If you are Protestant and think Catholics can’t be saved, you don’t know any.
Christ can overcome our worldly understandings.
The point is:
Both Protestants and Catholics fall short of the glory of God. Including in the areas of leadership/abuse of power and sexual immorality.
