Lamenting about others unknown does NOTHING
Nobody is lamenting.
We’re taking action and engaging in spiritual warfare.
I DO care about the eternal fate of others, so yes, I am going to intercede for them.

Prayer for our nation is so much more than "lamenting over others." It is a positive, joyful expression of faith in God's power to heal seemingly impossible situations, gratitude for the things He has provided to us, acknowledgment of the perversions of moral law we have allowed to creep in and destroy lives, repentance for the things we have done and left undone that contribute to disorder beyond our own lives, and importantly, it is a way to receive God's comfort and assurance of forgiveness.
Pilate said to him, “So you are a king?” Jesus answered, “You say that I am a king. For this purpose I was born and for this purpose I have come into the world—to bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth listens to my voice.”
Said as you butt into something you don’t want to participate in in order to discourage other people from seeking the Lord and pleading for His help, which is according to His will. Repent!
