British politician demands investigation into police over heavy-handed tactics
LONDON (ChurchMilitant.com) - Police dropped the "misgendering" investigation into a Catholic mother while she and her children are being threatened on social media.
After being questioned by the police, Caroline Farrow, a Catholic journalist and mother of five children, will face no further charges for the claim she violated the U.K. Malicious Communications Act of 2003 for comments she made on Twitter.
On March 22, her accuser, Susie Green, withdrew her complaint, and the investigation was dropped.
Ann Widdecombe, a former member of Parliament, sided with Farrow. In a Daily Express column, she blasted the Surrey police for wasting resources, saying, "Surrey police need never again plead that they are short of cash or manpower, having spent five months investigating a woman who 'misgendered' someone on Twitter."
Further, Widdecombe suggested the police department be investigated, saying, "The woman in question, Caroline Farrow, is a devout Catholic, so why doesn't somebody investigate the Surrey police for religious discrimination? Just a thought."
Farrow also says her husband, a Catholic priest, and her children's school has been doxxed.
Farrow agreed to appear on Good Morning Britain on March 25 and faced heavy criticism from the hosts for her tone of the debate.

Lived there for most of the 90’s. Christianity started to be frowned upon. Also traditional marriage. Experienced it in the workplace.

Too lazy to recheck so you can do it yourself but if I remember correctly, the complainant withdrew not because they regretted their attitude, itself but because they realized how stupid they looked, so don’t be too quick to give them credit.
They always eventually drop the charged. The police know the person is innocent but the leftist laws are designed to force an investigation, cause the person stress and money and make others believe the accused is a criminal.
The punishment is the process. Unfortunately, we can no longer believe the police anymore. They are just tools of leftist totalitarians.

Did you see that CNN interview with Comey where Christine Amanpour asked him why the FBI didn’t regulated speech? They left isn’t even hiding it anymore where they are trying to take us.

Did she say that 1) her husband; 2) a Catholic priest; and 3) her children's school had been doxxed?
Or did she mean that 1) her husband (who is also a Catholic priest); and 2) her children's school had been doxxed?

There are a good number of Catholic priests who were formerly Anglican priests. If they were married, they could become Catholic priests and remain married.
