Joining with you all in prayer, praise and thanksgiving!
I join in the Spirit with you all, from the center of Los Angeles aka the city of (all kinds of) Angels! - An already chaotic place even without the 4th of July madness, or earthquakes (or fires) going on. And it's a place I have alluded to on these vigil threads, alongside my prayers for the state and greater nation at large.
The LORD has been pressing on my heart for quite sometime to pray for a a *shakeup* of California: for a seismic shift in our state's CULTURE (Hollywood aka Babylon) in our POLITICS (the socialist spiderweb that is Sacramento), and our ECONOMICS (the tech-Goliaths of Silicon Valley.)
For a WALL of protection at our border, and for the restoration and renewal of our beautiful big cities of SF and LA - which are currently facing the scourges of homelessness, of open and legal marijuana abuse among people of all ages...Also the massively corrupt dealings between City Hall with powers that be from China and whoever else seeking to stake claim and exploit public spaces and real estate. And the general decay at every level of infrastructure and government. Like so many of America's great cities.
YET through all this, there IS Hope. The spirit is at WORK in our churches. The faith communities here -- united in Christ if not by denomination, are vibrant, active, and growing. And the spirit of Revival is here...This land founded and named in honor of saints by Spanish missionaries. This city -- the site of the 1900s Azusa street revivals and site of some of Billy Graham's greatest meetings!
SO I REFUSE to speak death over this place, or to view this round of Earthquakes as an omen of bad things to come, but rather a sign of God's great promises of redemption to come to pass. And to speak LIFE and PEACE over California and over the rest of America...

Praise God! Dear Lord, we petition Thee for a shake up of our culture, not just in California, but Lord, all across this nation. Make America Great Again in YOU.
