I ask the same of Mormons; who have translated the ENGLISH of JS’ day into the other languages of today’s world.

Now THOSE are surely ‘translations of translations’!

Give me a Gregorian Chant or Christmas carols in Latin The whole feel of the mass and the church changed after Pius.

I recall visiting the Basilica of San Domenico in the most wonderful city of Bologna, Italy, on a Sunday evening and listening to the Dominican Friars perform their Gregorian Chant, not for us and the handful of outsiders visiting the Basilica that night, but for themselves, God, and our Holy Savior. I still get chills.

Sometime during his life GK Chesterton discerned the death of Christendom and wrote a truly remarkable book of that title. Now Protestant America is coming to an end as well. As an observer of the breakdown of the USA and the church, I believe that Novus Ordo, Cardinal Robert Sarah (very much disliked by the Vatican), and other faithful Catholics, together with faithful orthodox Protestants, Eastern Orthodox, Lutherans, etc. share in common love for our Lord Jesus Christ, and hearts that seek Truth. Is it that in these evil days we are witnessing the emergence of the Lord’s faithful remnant? Personally, I believe this is so.

Sorry to disappoint you but while there is a remnant of salvific faith, that remnant of the Lord cannot be the admixture you describe, since the real basis Catholics for Catholic belief is not the only wholly inspired-of-God and substantive record of what the New Testament church believed (Scripture, esp. Acts-Rev.), but it is the magisterium of their church, past (for RadTadRcs) or present (for V2RCs).

Which promulgates distinctive Catholic teachings that are not manifest in that only wholly inspired substantive authoritative record

While all churches come short of the purity, purpose, probity and power of the prima NT apostolic church, yet the remnant are those who have at least had their "day of salvation" of Scriptural regeneration with it's profound basic effects thru personal repentant effectual faith to save them as lost sinners, on Christ's account.

And work to continue in the word of His grace. May we all be of such.

That’s what I tell you, you really do need to realise that you need to read the bible in entirety rather than the excerpts you do have

Meaning repeating a mantra once again will not make it true, nor refute the Truth that reproves it.

That’s what I tell you, you really do need to realise that you need to read the bible in entirety rather than the excerpts you do have

Meaning repeating bombast will not make the charge true, and reading the bible in entirety it what I have done more than once (even posting almost all of it, with commentary), and it remains that distinctive Catholic teachings are not manifest in the only wholly inspired substantive authoritative record of what the NT church believed (including how they understood the OT and gospels), which is Scripture, especially Acts thru Revelation.
