Many apocryphal texts were widely read and published in the early church. Enoch was as old as the rest of the scriptures in the Old Testament, but even it was excluded by Jews from its canon.............

I love the Bible, but I do not believe it is all there is. I believe when the church put the Bible together, it used only those books that could be used to keep people in subjugation to the church, hence only allowing the priesthood to read the Bible in the early days.
