might be the only folks we don’t ask intercession of.
She might have been afraid upon first seeing Gabriel. But then Gabriel quickly put her at ease. (“Do not be afraid, Mary; you have found favor with God." - Luke 1:30)
She was likely initially afraid, but then unafraid.
But so what? Her current status in Heaven does not rest upon her initial reaction to Gabriel.
But why not Moses and Elijah?

Not the point. A RC was claiming Mary wasn’t afraid in contradiction of Scripture. Which is true of so much RC theology as regards Mary.

Enjoy your perspective. Jesus himself taught us to pray; and, he didn't mention his mother. So, you believe the obviously infallible Pope is you wish. Jesus, who is God, disagrees with you and the Pope.

Muslims use worry beads for a similar reason, to chant repetitive rote phrases. Where in the Bible does it say to use a device in order to talk to God? Why would one need such a device? Neither Jesus, His disciples nor His mother had a rosary.

You don't have to be a pagan to involve yourself in a pagan practice.
For example, I've seen videos of Roman Catholics bowing and praying to an amazon idol Pacamama in the vatican. Totally pagan. She may eventually be given even wider acceptance as a saint the way things are going. It will remain pagan.
The Rosary is another version of pagan practice.
Marriage without it sure sounds like a recipe for disaster!
