When Cornerstone Christian Academy opened its campus doors last week, hundreds of eager students and relieved parents flooded the hallways.
Cornerstone Chapel Pastor Gary Hamrick announced the K-8 Christian school last February as an alternative for parents who wanted something other than a public school education for their children. Over 500 students are already enrolled at CCA, and parents and teachers explained why so many families are flocking to the new campus in Middleburg, Va., which is commonly known as the nation's "Horse and Hunt Capital" for its foxhunting and steeplechases.
"It’s just incredible," Head of School Dr. Sam Botta told Fox News Digital. "There was excitement from the very beginning."

At last...some good news! Some light in the darkness!
Fingers crossed, that this school does not quickly bow, and become
TRANS-formed.
The Christian school my son goes to added new teachers in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades to keep up with demand. My son’s high school grade is about 10% larger than last year.

Mrs. P. and I have been watching their Sudnay & Wednesday online services for about 2 years. It is a large church and they still have to have 3 services on Sunda. It is a solid Bible believing and teaching Calvary Chapel affiliated church in NOVA.
Btw, I believe they are doing baptisms this evening. Probably 100+ children and adults.
The only issue with parochial schools for highly qualified educators is the meager pay. Teachers can make more than DOUBLE the salary teaching in public schools than one can teaching in parochial schools.
Public schools and charter schools tend to use the same pay scales.
Parochial school do not, but they almost always have enough teachers for the schools.
Maybe Middleton VA isn't as crazy of a place for public schools, but almost everyone that I know in teaching would make less for a real chance at teaching, not just class control and administrative paperwork that one finds in public controls.
The low pay is somewhat compensated by the freedom to really teach and not have to deal with as many classroom management issues.
Ohio has passed a law allowing state taxpayers to donate up to 750 dollars (1500 joint) and take it as a tax credit, donated to their choice of private school, including religious based schools. If every concerned citizen took advantage of this, which costs the taxpayer nothing, think what a difference it would make.
A man I know started an Traditional/orthodox Catholic school about 10 years ago. Rented a disused school for $1. Got some college professors to (at first) volunteer to teach. Mass every day, classic Greek and Christian philosophy and history, math and science. No school-organized sports (families are free to organize themselves), certainly no progressive social-engineering
Tuition is still very low, a fraction of what public schools (or other private schools) spend per child.
Graduates going to top universities, and christian universities
Student population has grown massively in 10 years.
I think the nation has taken a sharp swing to the right. But it is being obscured by a very vocal group of leftists and a biased media.
Wonderful report. What’s amazing is that the school has not had demands for inclusion made. Or has it?
They generally don’t have to deal with violent, dysfunctional students, which is worth something.
Wonderful! This is good news. How to see more of this across the nation.
Blame the leftist media.
