That's not "profitable" in any normal sense of the word, and the Church is a long way from owning the most assets of any institution on the planet.
The Vatican routinely operates at a loss. Several American dioceses have declared bankruptcy. That is not the picture of a "profitable" organization.
If you want to find a religious organization that is profitable, I suggest you look at a certain religious organization headquartered in Salt Lake City, which requires its membership to tithe or be treated as second-class citizens.
Alternatively, look at the (supposedly) religious organization headquartered in Clearwater, Florida, which is pretty well attested (by ex-members who have escaped) to use what amounts to slave labor in its operation.
Catholics, by contrast, are notoriously poor givers. My parish's current project is fixing our 175-year-old church's roof so that it doesn't leak when it rains. Sound like a rich organization to you?
We don't have a built-in coffee shop, or a bookstore, or a >$50,000 sound system ... that would be the Baptist megachurch in the county immediately to the south of us.

I have no idea. This is the first comment, of slapshot’s, I believe I’ve ever seen/responded to/about.
But, we must take your mantra, er, word, at face value.
Right?
Then please explain why while crying poverty RCINC is routinely able to hire 600$/hr. defense attorneys to engage in smear tactics of victims of sexual abuse by their employees (aka priests)
