Isn't there some controversy regarding forged Ignatian epistles? If so, then how do you know that you can trust this one?

I was not aware of any Ignatian forgeries. I think all Christians, Protestant, Orthodox, and Catholic, accept them as authentic. However, if you have any valid data that would stand up to academic scrutiny, I'd be happy to entertain the possibilty and examine the claims.
