Well, your human after all:)

Ephesians 4:
[26] Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:
[27] Neither give place to the devil.
Now HOW can we be angry and not sin? I don't know, I'm not sure what the line is, but I hope that passage helps. It is ok to be angry, just don't use it an excuse to sin.

And here is the root difference. The Catholic Church teaches that both the unitive and the procreative aspects must be present in every sexual encounter. The alternative position is that the procreative aspect must be present in the marriage, but not necessarily in every sexual encounter.
Let's consider the other aspect for a moment. If the unitive aspect must be present in every encounter, then does that mean having a "quickie" for the sheer pleasure of it is sinful? If I am misunderstanding how you define "unitive" here, please correct me.
Wait, let me go back and look and I'll tell you later.. too many issues and not enough concentration to go around.. LOL.
"PicksUpHorses"?
Sshh! I'm trying to make it a year here without you guys knowing that. ;^)

I paid close attention and did read that part. However, the RCC does not forbid marriage. Yes, the priests take a vow of chastity, but they are free to marry instead. You may wish to go and read the letter to the Corinthians where the same Paul adivses them to not be married.
Also, understand that I know of many individual RC's that will join us Protesters around the throne, because of their faith. I also know many individuals members of Prostestant denominations that will hear "I never knew you", because of their faith being non-existent.
Ditto, that.
I also believe that many leaders of the RC as an institution will have a lot to answer for on that great and dreadful day (2nd Peter Ch. 2).
As will leaders of all faiths.
Consider yourself added to the ping list. BTW ... may I ask what "L,TOWM" means?
God bless.

Allow me to add a corollary question. Suppose one spouse decides unilaterally to get a tubal ligation or a vasectomy. In Catholic teaching, would the other spouse then be required to abstain?
I'll try and remember that. ;o)
Not true at all. You can have fun anywhere from Day 14 to the end of the month. ;-)
(Al, my wife and I used it for a few years. It takes a commitment, mostly on her part to get up at a certain time every morning to record her temperature. You can get digital thermometers that store the temperature so you don't need a light on to read it, you can read it later. )

The Horse Lifter, of course! ;o)
Are you kidding? I have two young children (the ultimate form of NFP!! ;o)
Shut up, what do you know anyway? :)

PicksUpHorses"?
How about "The Horse Lifterer". ;o)
I have no idea. I guess it would depend on the age of those involved. The marriage ceremony does include a vow to be open to the possibility of children. This vow would be a lie in this case. For those beyond chiild bearing years this vow is not taken, for obvious reasons. I guess I really don't know.
(Someone mark the date, SoothingDave was stumped.)

LOL ... isn't that the truth?!
Actually, I've done no such thing. I've rather expressly stated exactly what the scriptures state. I can read. And I do understand there IS a difference between spiritual life and death. The body dying is what is spoken of. And the body most certainly does die. That is death. So, do you care to come off your thrown and offer something rather than rhetoric - Like maybe sound foundation for ANYTHING you say.
Lettuce, tomato onion with mayo, of course. ;-0
