. IMO, it dripped with pride - "look at me, victorious on the field of debate." If you want to equate this with the examples above, so be it.

Pride, LOL. The first bullet of the persecuted is the charge of your intent - always looks worst when you're caught and without cover. Amazing. Pride at what? Shutting you up? Your absence? Silence isn't victory. And I'm already victorious, I don't need anything from you or anyone else here to confirm that. Nor do I have any need to be prideful about it as if there were anything for any of us to be prideful about where scripture is concerned. Some of us think about things other than what someone else might think about us personally....

My only intention in asking you whether or not you loved the people on this forum, and were trying to love them more, was to help you. If you want to take it as me somehow trying to act superior, fine. Your choice. Here is the post that sparked my initial comment to you:

Get's pretty quiet when their defense falls out from under them. All that time building up the misdirections and when the smoke blows clear, they've no more defense other than they have decided to beleive what men taught them rather than what scripture states. That isn't Christianity - that is philosophy and paganism.

This despite the fact that RobbyS had posted on the topic an hour earlier on a Saturday afternoon. I don't see how you were “defending Scripture” with this post. IMO, the room got quiet and you drew a conclusion about why. IMO, the conclusion you drew doesn’t speak well about the state of your judgement at the time you posted. I posted to you later that evening to try to help you see this. You don’t agree. Fine. Personally, I struggle against the sin of pride and lack of love every single hour every single day and appreciate it when God through others brings it to my attention. If you are not afflicted with the same sin, then I’m grateful to God.

I don’t see where my posting about this anymore is profitable for either of us, so I’ll drop the subject. If you want to have the last word, go right ahead.
