It requires an active imagination to turn a statement into a request. "They have no wine" is not "make some wine", or "please", or "perform a miracle."

It requires the proper translation of the verse to understand at Mary's request, Christ performed his first miracle

His mother's sons were what???

Just to make sure you understand where I stand on this, "MARY HAD NO CHILDREN OTHER THAN JESUS".

I believe it is you who is missing the significance of this passage.

You avoided my question as I thought you would. From the Cross Jesus told John to “Behold thy mother”. Unless you believe Mary was John’s mother, why would he say this?

It isn't necessary to read minds in order to arrive at a reasonable conclusion.

I said nothing about reading minds. Which by the way, you can't do that either. And your conclusion is not reasonable.

It is up to you to convince me that Italians as well as Catholics in the United States are either sterile or have invented a new method of "natural rythm".

It is not up to me to convince you of anything. I have already responded to you regarding this and since you entirely missed my point, there is no further need for me to say anything.
