I used to be Presbyterian (USA). But, of course, since that is a "mainline"...liberal...denomination, I never heard the word predestination the entire time I was there. I became a Calvinist from, well, hearing about it online and examining the Scriptures.....still clinging to a few of my pet free will verses for about a year and a half I think before finally giving in.

That is what it's like, isn't it?

We fight the absoluteness of God's will until the truth of it finally over-powers our prideful nature. "Irresistible."

I wish that comfort for everyone.
