In the end a move by her order toward secularism and away from "old-fashioned" traditions -- including cloister living -- sent her and several other nuns into a tailspin that ended with her death in a lonely house-turned-tiny-cloister in Fostoria, Ohio. This may well become our fate if the situation in this country is not turned around, soon. If we have to go into the catacombs, it would be an honor to be there with you.
Keep the faith!
I keep reminding myself of St. Padre Pio saying "Pray, hope, and don't worry." It is a discipline I have been trying to practice, though 'worry' does get the best of me sometimes. God bless.
I have had a dream where I was living in the catacombs and I always wondered what it meant. Right now, it could be the way America is going towards being the new Babylon, that we might indeed be headed for some kind of catacombs.
Any thoughts?
