Rest I just went to do a hunt..I can not remember where I read it..(weeks of searching may find it..but:>) there is a doctrinal belief tied to the beings of flesh and bone and not blood..it had something to do with the blood being contaminated..do you know what I am talking about?..(yea you win as the LDS research queen:>)

There are many mainline Christians that believe that blood is very important in many ways the Blood that Jesus shed through each poor for us. And that here on earth we need to renew our vows and to be cleanse, that why we take sacrament. The LDS take the sacrament everyweek except during General Conferance.

Which starts this weekend General Conference starts off with Relief Soceity Sept 28, Sat. @ 8 pm. resumes on Oct.6 Sat. & Oct.7 Sun 2002. time 12pm to 2pm - 4pm to 6pm
