If you haven't lurked on any of the recent LDS threads, you should know that a number of freepers (CARepubGal is one) make it their business to attack, mock, and insult my faith, and constantly misrepresent our teachings and history.

You will have to choose who you will listen to, but I would encourage you to not blindly accept anything they (or we) say. If you really want to check out what mormons believe and teach, I would recomend you start with the official sites: http://www.lds.org and http://www.mormon.org . There are also several good LDS apologetics sites like http://www.fairlds.org/apol/ and http://www.jefflindsay.com/LDS_Intro.shtml. Plus I and other LDS freepers are happy to answer any sincere questions you may have.

I don't know what others have done to mock you. I would not mock you,but probably see eye to eye with you on many important conservative issues. Its when you start trying to win converts that I will try to bring the truth, and the history of Mormonism. I am not Sandra Tanner as White Mountain acuses, but would ask you to read what is on the Utah Lighthouse Ministry site. When I posted these important historical, documented facts White Mountain was afraid of the truth and called me a liar. All I ask is that you guys agknowledge the history of the church. I learned the truth bu researching my own Mormon family history. What I learned was not all bad. I honestly love the Mormon people, but cannot stand by while you try to convert others to what I consider to be an oppressive cult.

You seem a tad sensitive. I am suspicious of anyone who thinks their faith should get a free ride and be above questioning. Now, would you adress the question if you can and leave other posters out of the conversation?
