Some of the things that went on in that diocese would curl your hair. I just about lost my faith. In fact the last two years we lived there I attended Mass about twice a year. I finally started putting two and two together and realized that everything that was going on didn't come straight from the approval of the pope. When we moved to our present diocese I told my daughter that we would check out the local parish to see if it were really Catholic. If it had been another AmChurch I would no longer be Catholic, I'm afraid. Fortunately our new parish is really Catholic and for that I am quite grateful.
