The only poll of military voters that has any credibility is the survey conducted by the Military Times newspapers. Their most recent results, published in May, gave Trump a 2:1 lead over Hillary. Johnson wasn’t mentioned; either he wasn’t an option or didn’t register in the results.

I’m retired military and I follow these surveys with a great deal of interest. Never heard of the poll cited in the article—reliability is extremely suspect.

I would not discount this. As someone who actually served I found a lot more than I ever imagined were liberal or liberaltarian. I saw a poll a few weeks saying the enlisted thought both Trump and Clinton sucked, based on my experience I'd tend to believe that was accurate.
