I'd like to put in a prayer request for the 8 foreigners from a German Christian organization in Afghanastan that are currently on "trial" under Taliban law (strict Islamic law) and could be hanged for the crime of proselytizing Christianity. Two of these people are American females in their mid-twenties. I believe the others are Australians and Germans.
Lord, please give these brave young adults and their families strength and peace in this terrible time of uncertainty.
There are threads with more details. This is a stark reminder that Christians are still being persecuted for their beliefs around the world.
