Freepers, it seems to me that the main-line press has made a concerted effort to prevent the American public from viewing photo images from the attacks that present the true horror, terror and personal tragedy that has taken place. Surprisingly, private individuals, and media outside of the USA have not bowed to these pressures to "not offend the sensibilities.
Folks, this is war and the American people need to see what has taken place. Otherwise, those who are already taking to the streets and pleading for us to calm down, negotiate and "give peace a chance" may weaken America's resolve. I am therefore requesting that people post photo's, or links to photo galleries that accurately present the true scope of what has happened. These images exist and people should see them. They should be burned into the psyche of the American people and our Allies in order to remind us of the reasons WHY we are fighting.
Up until now these attacks have been generalized, dehumanized, and unfocused because "we don't want to get dirty", presented like a video game or a movie.
The reality is quite different, THOUSANDS of innocent civilians, were burned, crushed alive, forced to jump or throw themselves alive from 80 to100 stories high etc... . Where are those images? They exist and the American people need to see it. See every bit of it because WE ARE AT WAR WITH INDIVIDUALS AND NATION STATES WHO WANT TO SEE EVERY ONE OF US AND OUR WAY OF LIFE DESTROYED AND DEAD. Just like those poor people who lost their lives.
Before anyone becomes "offended" and this post gets pulled, there was a time in America when we were not ashamed or "offended" to show graphic images of the honored dead and the casualties after the attack on Pearl Harbor and the sinking of the Lusitania because they were the reason why we took up arms and fought. I make no apologies for this request.

I could see where these photos would be released in the future in sympathy with military action with collateral damage.
Please continue to post anything and everything you can in the way of photo's and links regarding these events.

Tonight Fox News is estimating our losses at between 20 to 30 THOUSAND CIVILIANS. This tragedy will not stand..
May God have mercy upon us as a nation and may we turn to Him in humility, repentence and prayer through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Freepers, one more question for the computer wizzards among us. Once an extensive photo gallery/and possibly steaming video collection has been assembled, could someone create a web page dedicated to this issue? Thanks in advance.

Does anyone here have the resources to put this together? It would be nice if they were in a format to print and a put together as a Large Mural. I would hang it in my Office for all to see!
