Afghanistan's ruling Taliban militia on Friday blasted the United States for singling out Usama bin Laden as the prime suspect in connection with Tuesday's attacks, warning of "revenge" if the United States attacked their country.
"Oh, Muslims of the world, we should unite together if the United States attacks us," Reuters reported a cleric as saying during Friday prayers at a mosque in the capital Kabul.

Take note...this is how stupid they think we are, everyone.
Take note...this is how stupid they think we are, everyone.
Well, you hit the World Trade Center, but you missed America. You hit the Pentagon, but you missed America. You used helpless American bodies, to take out other American bodies, but like a poor marksman, you STILL missed America.
Why? Because of something you guys will never understand. America isn't about a building or two, not about financial centers, not about military centers, America isn't about a place, America isn't even about a bunch of bodies. America is about an IDEA. An idea, that you can go someplace where you can earn as much as you can figure out how to, live for the most part, like you envisioned living, and pursue Happiness. (No guarantees that you'll reach it, but you can sure try!)
Go ahead and whine your terrorist whine, and chant your terrorist litany: "If you can not see my point, then feel my pain." This concept is alien to Americans. We live in a country where we don't have to see your point. But you're free to have one. We don't have to listen to your speech. But you're free to say one. Don't know where you got the strange idea that everyone has to agree with you. We don't agree with each other in this country, almost as a matter of pride. We're a collection of guys that don't agree, called States. We united our individual states to protect ourselves from tyranny in the world. Another idea, we made up on the spot. You CAN make it up as you go, when it's your country.
If you're free enough.
Yeah, we're fat, sloppy, easy-going goofs most of the time. That's an unfortunate image to project to the world, but it comes of feeling free and easy about the world you live in. It's unfortunate too, because people start to forget that when you attack Americans, they tend to fight like a cornered badger. The first we knew of the War of 1812, was when England burned Washington D.C. to the ground. Didn't turn out like England thought it was going to, and it's not going to turn out like you think, either. Sorry, but you're not the first bully on our shores, just the most recent.
No Marquis of Queensbury rules for Americans, either. We were the FIRST and so far, only country in the world to use nuclear weapons in anger. Horrific idea, nowadays? News for you bucko, it was back then too, but we used it anyway. Only had two of them in the whole world and we used 'em both. Grandpa Jones worked on the Manhattan Project. Told me once, that right up until they threw the switch, the physicists were still arguing over whether the Uranium alone would fission, or whether it would start a fissioning chain reaction that would eat everything. But they threw the switch anyway, because we had a War to win. Does that tell you something about American Resolve?
So who just declared War on us? It would be nice to point to some real estate, like the good old days. Unfortunately, we're probably at war with random camps, in far-flung places. Who think they're safe. Just like the Barbary Pirates did. Better start sleeping with one eye open.
There's a spirit that tends to take over people who come to this country, looking for opportunity, looking for liberty, looking for freedom. Even if they misuse it. The Marielistas that Castro emptied out of his prisons, were overjoyed to find out how much freedom there was. First thing they did when they hit our shores, was run out and buy guns. The ones that didn't end up dead, ended up in prisons. It was a big PITA then (especially in south Florida), but you're only the newest PITA, not the first.
You guys seem to be incapable of understanding that we don't live in America, America lives in US! American Spirit is what it's called. And killing a few thousand of us, or a few million of us, won't change it. Most of the time, it's a pretty happy-go-lucky kind of Spirit. Until we're crossed in a cowardly manner, then it becomes an entirely different kind of Spirit.
Wait until you see what we do with that Spirit, this time. Sleep tight, if you can. We're coming.
They started the war, after we helped them fight the Russsians (Uncle Sucker, yet again), but they are not fighting Russians now, Iraq knows how well Russian Technology stands up to American technology...
Should be, there will be revenge when we attack.
Revenge? You bet.
Thats fear talking. Kicked the giant a little too hard this time and now he's awake and looking around...at them. As Sen. McCain said in his Senate speech; "We're coming". They know it and they are scared.
You'll 'unite' alright - in a puddle running in the gutters of Kabul.
The Bin Laden operation was identified as a commanding procurator of the multi-national terrorist attack on US troops stationed in Saudi Arabia. The United States government declared that it is now issuing a declaration of war on terrorism, that an international team including the cooperation of governments in the Middle East and Africa is being formed to conduct this war on terrorism, and that those 'individuals' responsible will be searched out and held accountable. Osama Bin Laden was never held accountable, and the American public largely forgot about the incident within 3 weeks. Osama Bin Laden's terrorist network was directly linked to threats on US embassies. The US government stated that it is working closely with allies and nations to monitor terrorist activities, including nations in Africa. Nothing was done. Osama Bin Laden was then directly tied to the subsequent attacks on US embassies across the globe, and to direct terrorist assassinations and bombings of personnel and infrastructure of these embassies abroad and specifically in Africa. The US government declared that the network of Osama Bin Laden is suspect, and subsequently declared a war on terrorism. Representatives of the US government stated that talks and blue-ribbon commissions and coalitions are being setup as part of an international effort, that there has been success in establishing multi-national coalitions and intelligence against terrorism. Osama Bin Laden was never held accountable. The American public in large part forgot about the attacks on US embassies within 1 month. Osama Bin Laden was identified as a participant in the multi-national terrorist network involved in the bombing of the USS Cole. The US government stated that those responsible will only be able to 'hide in the shadows' for so long, that they will be found and held accountable. The US government announced that an international anti-terrorist coalition is now being formed to combat terrorism, including the full cooperation of Middle Eastern nations who are themselves effected by terrorism. The US government declared that this is a war. Osama Bin Laden was never held accountable. Nothing was done after the American public largely forgot about the terrorist attack within 2 weeks.
Somewhere "inbetwikst" all of this, Clinton lobbed some missiles in a desert, and his approval rating sky rocketed. Some Americans remember this, in fact I just hear a black lady in a Home Depot talking to her mom on the phone saying how at least Clinton shot them missiles and they wouldn't be messing with Clinton right now and how she doesn't want to go fight a war for Bush who has no business pocking into the countries, and stuff like that. The black lady I found out is part of our US military. By the way, I told her a few things and almost starting a fight, but still managed to get the better of her and actually was able to purchase an item without getting thrown out of the store.
Osama Bin Laden has been linked to the second terrorist attack on the WTC and the Pentagon itself. The US government has now declared war on terrorism. It has been almost a week since perhaps tens of thousands of US civilians have been killed by the terrorist attack, and Osama Bin Laden has not been held accountable. The Bush Administration has stated that those responsible and those that harbor the terrorists will be held accountable. Administration representatives have stated that a multi-national coalition against terrorism is being setup. The Administration is now referring to the terrorists as 'those individuals'. The US government is stating that 'those individuals' will no longer be able to 'hide in the shadows'. Multi-national terrorist organizations and the nations that harbor them are not the specific target of the now declared war on terrorism, the convergence of statements by the US government is now being equidistant to 'those individuals'. Bodies are being ferried across the Hudson river.
Bush's approval rating is now at 92%. Very good. All the more opportunity to attack those nations responsible while there is still American support for such a counter-response. Because one year from now many Americans will in large part have forgotten this attack and go back to Wheel of Fortune. It has now been almost a week since the worst attack upon United States civilians by foreign nations and foreign networks in has occurred, the worst and probably the most consequential attack in the entire US history, and the primary nation and person accountable has not been held accountable at all. All the more reason to demand so, to keep demanding.
No more restraint. No more peace talks.
Light up the beard of Osama Bin Laden, and more importantly, light up the underpants and itchy loin rags of every Taliban official in Afghanistan and all of their major cities. We are told Afghanistan is in the stone age. There are many, many televisions sets in Afghanistan. There are many Taliban and citizens of Afghanistan who watch the television replays of the planes crashing and exploding into the WTC, and they drink tea warmed up by microwave ovens, they dance and toast the deaths of Americans, they play the latest DVD release of 'Osama Bin Laden - God's Hero' on their VHS players. In stone age Afghanistan, air conditioners are running all across the country. The Taliban is starting to bunker down to 'get ready', each passing day more bunkers are built, better reinforcements are setup. But no one, no even Osama Bin Laden has been 'living in the shadows' in the years and months prior to this terrorist attack in New York. They ride about in Mercedes Benz's to the rifle ranges, and have fun shooting Chinese made weapons. Some of them even enjoy bowling in their public bowling alleys. The murderers who dive-bombed our US airline planes into the WTC, they enjoyed watching a naked lady show prior to picking up their Koran and heading for the airport. We hear about Afghanistan living in the stone age, in caves. Maybe we better make that a reality. The sooner the better.
The Taliban issued a threat last night. They said that there will be retaliation if the US strikes Osama Bin Laden. That was their final warning, or else.
You know, we don't want to repeat the mistakes of Vietnam.
And, that is why we need to fight an offensive war, not a defensive war. When does this war on terrorism start? Taking out the government in Afghanistan, that might be a good starting point. Or perhaps we should wait until they call for Democratic elections? Jimmy Carter and Gerry Fordcould help with this effort.
Yeah. Right.
You take it to their cities first. Maybe they will decide to go get Osama for us. Then you continue to take to their cities, anyway.
That's right. You make it an international investigation, a multi-national operation. And, maybe as part of this international investigation we investigate the possible links to Osama Bin Laden from the leftists in the government of France. And the links to Mr. Bin Laden to some in China. That would be a good start. And another possible idea is that we start carpet bombing Afghanistan tonight. But that is just a suggestion.
San Francisco is a city that has declared itself a sanctuary for those illegals from foreign nations who break our laws and violate our security by coming into our nation through illegal means. Maybe we start this international investigation by investigating the government of San Francisco.
What we need is a disproportionate response. For every one of us, seven of them. And, maybe what we need for those right here in America who harbor the terrorists and give them sanctuary is a disproportionate response. For every one terrorist that got in, seven local politicians who let this happen have to go.
The idea of open borders better be over.
I commend the historic bipartisan effort, especially by the Senate. I mean that absolutely, and I am proud of this historic unity, and quite frankly am embarrassed now by some of my rhetoric which would foment disunity. However, I would like to request that the representative from New York, "Chuck" I believe his name is, quit parading his little poodle Hillary Rodham Clinton to the front of the line and in front of every microphone with every opportunity, cutting in front of the Senate Majority Leader for example. Because, frankly, I am very interested in what Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle (D) has to say, and not what Hillary has to say, and as for "Chuck" and this game he has been playing with his little poodle, well, I guess I just won't comment. I would like to thank Daschle for his leadership shown so far, and of course the leadership of the Senate and so many of it's Republican members, as well as Democrats.
So we are now at war. Hope the war starts, soon, and we win.
