Well, good morning all. I just got up, and it is a cool, foggy morning. Vice President Cheney is on Meet the Press as I type. I have a great deal of admiration for him. I hope everyone is well this morning.

Friday there was a call for all to go to their front porch, get out of your car wherever you were or come outside of your place of busines and at 7 P.M. EDT, light a candle. Whether this was done across the country, I do not know. From my stoop I can only see the front door of four houses. Two of those houses had candle lighters. Three of these houses have American Flags flying.
I am not completely satisfied in just a single lighting of a candle and have suggested to others that we root through our Christmas decorations and pull out one of our electric canles and put it in a front window and keep it burning from early morning until late at night.
This is a candle of rememberance of those who perished in the tragedy on Tuesday, in love and prayers for the families of the deceased and their families and a light to shine in support of our President and his advisors.
Many candles in many windows would show a country wide support for all who will have to take part in the elimination of the "faceless coward" who masterminded the assault on the World Trade Towers and the Pentagon.
It is my hope and my prayer that this suggestion will be seen as a good one and will be carried out throughout our nation - a symbol of our solidarity in the trying days to come.
I pray that God will give His guidance to our President and his advisors as they make the decisons of what is to be done. I hope that there will be few criticisms of their actions.
I pray that we can all be AMERICANS. No hyphens - just joined together without thought of specific race, religion, creed or other things that will divide us.
May we always remembe the old saying -"United we stand - divided we fall." May we find the strength to do what we can to bring this tragedy to an end so that our country and the world will never again be subjected to such an attack.
May we all have our flags out for all to see. May we all wear our tri-colored ribbons and keep prayers in our hearts.
God Bless America and Bless all Americans
